Key Responsibilities of the RN - Med Surg

• Administer and monitor patient care with a ratio of 1:6/7
• Collaborate with the charge RN and nurse aides on the unit
• Titrate heparin drips based on aptt results
• Utilize telemonitoring systems effectively
• Float between units as needed based on census

Requirements of the RN - Med Surg

• Valid RN license
• BLS, NIHSS certifications
• Experience with intermittent BIPAP
• Familiarity with EPIC charting system
