Qualifications & Experience:

• Current, unencumbered LPN/LVN license
• Previous experience in a school health setting highly preferred
• Solid knowledge of pediatric/adolescent care and chronic disease management
• Excellent communication, documentation, and organizational abilities
• Ability to quickly build rapport with students, school staff, and parents
• CPR/BLS certification
• Adaptability to shifting school environments and varying student needs

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver direct nursing care to students, including administering medications, first aid, and emergency interventions as needed
• Support students with chronic health needs (e.g., diabetes, asthma) by developing and implementing care plans
• Maintain accurate, confidential health records according to school policy
• Serve as a health resource for faculty and parents, promoting overall wellness
• Monitor and track communicable diseases and immunization compliance
• Contribute to safe, inclusive school environments by advocating for student health needs
