Key Qualifications:

• Valid School Psychologist certification/license (South Carolina or eligibility for reciprocity)
• Master’s or Specialist degree in School Psychology from an accredited program
• Experience working within K-12 school settings preferred
• Strong knowledge of IDEA, Section 504, and state education regulations
• Excellent communication, collaboration, and organizational skills
• Ability to interpret assessment data and develop individualized recommendations

Primary Responsibilities:

• Provide comprehensive psychological services to address barriers to student success
• Conduct psychoeducational evaluations and interpret a variety of assessment measures
• Develop data-driven recommendations for special education eligibility and intervention planning
• Collaborate with teachers, administrators, families, and multidisciplinary teams to support students’ individual needs
• Ensure compliance with federal and state education laws and guidelines
• Deliver direct services, including consultation, crisis intervention, counseling, behavioral support, and progress monitoring
• Maintain accurate and confidential documentation of services and student progress
• Participate actively in IEP, Section 504, and other relevant meetings
• Advocate for equitable, safe, and inclusive learning environments for all students
