Job Summary:
Radiation Therapist in Rice Lake, Wisconsin. This acute care setting requires a qualified professional to perform radiation therapy treatments, including simulations, with a focus on safety and precision. The position involves working with advanced department-specific equipment such as Varian TrueBeam, Siemens CT Scanner, and alignRT, under the supervision of a radiation oncologist.

Job Details:

• Schedule: 7:30 AM to 4:00 PM with variable hours, mainly 8-hour shifts, minimum of 40 hours per week
• Required Qualifications: ARRT certification, BLS certification (American Heart Association or ARC), minimum of 2 years of experience, Wisconsin state licensure to submit, experience with ARIA, CBCT, alignRT, SBRT, and familiarity with GE, Phillips, Siemens imaging equipment
• Preferred Qualifications: Experience with radiation therapy treatments and simulations, competence with clinical systems such as Cerner EMR and PACS, knowledge of department-specific procedures
• Additional Information: Candidates must have reliable transportation within 80 miles of the facility. Orientation includes 2 days of organization and department-specific training. The department has in-house radiologists and radiation oncologists on-site 2-3 days per week. No IV start responsibilities or RRA duties required.
