Wound Ostomy RN - Outpatient Wound Healing Center

Description A clinical expert who assesses, plans, implements, and evaluates the care for patients with chronic non‑healing wounds in an urban outpatient wound clinic. Functions as a consultant for patients with altered skin integrity and complex wounds including chronic lower extremity and non‑healing surgical wounds. Responsibilities Provide expert wound assessment, planning, implementation and evaluation; consult on complex wound cases; work within a multidisciplinary team to deliver patient‑focused, whole‑person care. Required Qualifications Upon hire: Washington Registered Nurse License Upon hire: National Provider BLS – American Heart Association Within 2 years of hire: WOCN certification Experience managing simple and complex wounds and ostomies (additional specialty experience may be required) Preferred Qualifications Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing from an accredited school. Applicants without a BSN must actively pursue and attain a BSN within five years of hire. Continued employment beyond five years is contingent upon attaining the BSN degree.
