Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: RN Specialty: Operating Room Duration: 13 weeks Shift: 06:45 - 15:15 Hours per Shift: 8 Experience: Minimum 2 years License: RN (ADN or BSN) Certifications: Required certifications as applicable Must-Have Skills/Experience: - OR experience Description: Travelers must start on one of the following dates: November 9th, November 16th, or December 7th. Orientation is bi-weekly. The facility has various departments including brain center, cancer center, heart center, lung center, orthopedics, general and vascular surgery, surgical weight loss, women's center, and a Level 3 NICU. There is a 32-bed emergency department, a 29-bed inpatient rehab, and a 15-bed surgical suite with imaging. The facility includes an adult behavioral health hospital. Weekend hours will be required with on-call duty. Call requirements are 7 days per month (including Friday, Saturday, and Sunday). The unit comprises 13 beds with a patient ratio of 1:1. Equipment in use includes robotics, Mako, Holmium Laser, and Hana table. The electronic health record system in use is Cerner. Patient population primarily consists of adults, with minimal pediatric outpatient care. Preferred skill set includes experience in orthopedic or neurological surgeries. Common diagnoses and treatments align with the operating room specialty. Personality fit is key for this role. Dress code is scrubs provided by the facility laundry. Any outside attire that has not been laundered is considered unacceptable. This position is a contractor replacement.
