Umpqua Community College is seeking a student worker for the position of Course Access Assistant. This is a pooled position and applications will be reviewed on an as needed, on-going basis. Are you organized, innovative, and a self-starter who is motivated, positive, and has a strong desire to help others? If yes, then this is the position for you! As a Student Worker in the position of Course Access Assistant, your primary role shall be to assist students with disabilities to perform tasks that are a required component of their course. You do not do the work for the student, but you may manipulate materials, write or complete other course related tasks such as assisting with retrieving material from backpacks and taking notes.

Umpqua Community College is located in beautiful Southern Oregon between the mountains of the Cascade Range to the east and the Coastal Range to the west. • Candidates must be dependable and responsible, possessing good communication skills.
• Organized, customer service skills, ability to maintain strict confidentiality, and willingness to be part of a student support team.
• Willing to train.
