About the Position

Assists surgeons and anesthesiologists during surgeries, ensuring a sterile environment and patient safety. must live 100 miles away • 5–8-hour shifts- 0630 – 1500. 7 call shifts for a six-week period. 3 weekend and 4 weekday shifts. • At least 2 years’ experience, ACLS, PALS and BLS required. • Certification (CNOR) preferred. RN License Required "The operating room nurse is responsible for scrubbing and/or circulating duties for operative procedures; department admissions to the operative suite. Adheres to standards and appropriate aseptic techniques. Consults and coordinates with team members to assess, plan, implement and evaluate intraoperative patient care plans. Serves as a communication liaison to patients, families, and member of the operating team. � Prepares the operating room for the patient and surgical procedure. � Assembles equipment, supplies, and ensures equipment is functional, and supplies/implants are available. �"
