Experience:

• 36 months of experience with 3 months worked in the last 12 months.

• 12 months of Medical Surgical Float Pool experience worked in the last 3 years.

• BSN completion preferred.

Requirements:

• Candidates must have a Hawaii license (required after submission).

• This role may require floating to additional units and locations

• Local & travel allowed.

• 12 months gap required between for Staff at Program: AMN Program - Kaiser Hawaii and no current placement allowed at Program: AMN Program - Kaiser Hawaii.

• 12 months gap required between for Part-Time at Program: AMN Program - Kaiser Hawaii and no current placement allowed at Program: AMN Program - Kaiser Hawaii.

• 12 months gap required between for Per Diem at Program: AMN Program - Kaiser Hawaii and no current placement allowed at Program: AMN Program - Kaiser Hawaii.

Additional Details:

Previous Employment Requirements: You must take a 1 year break between staff and travel for ALL Kaiser facilities.

Required Skills/Experience: Float experience does not count towards the unit experience requirement.

Required Credentials: Graduate of an accredited nursing program.

Shift & Scheduling: Monday start. Travelers are expected to have open availability for day/evening/night shift based off the facility needs – this is not negotiable. Weekends and Holidays included

Floating Requirements: This position is subject to floating to units within the clinician’s skill set. Requirement to float between Maui Memorial Campus and Kihei facility. LTC/Skilled Nursing, ICF/IID Unit, CAH Unit

5 days maximum time off. Facility holidays: 09/07/2026, 11/26/2026, 12/25/2026, 01/01/2027, 05/31/2027, 07/04/2027. Number of holidays allowed off: 1

1 Charge/Lead reference required from within the last 12 months
