Pride Health is hiring Shipping and Receiving Clerk to support our client’s medical facility based in Linden, NJ. This is a Contract job with a possible extension opportunity and a great way to start working with a top-tier healthcare organization!

 

Title: Shipping and Receiving Clerk

Location: Linden, NJ 

Pay rate: $18 - $18.50

Schedule: 8:30 am - 5 pm

Contract Duration: 3+ months 

 

Responsibilities:

·         Perform routine histology procedures including tissue processing, embedding, microtomy, H&E staining, coverslipping, and slide preparation.

·         Assist with special stains/IHC (preferred).

·         Maintain laboratory equipment, quality control, safety, and regulatory compliance (CLIA/CAP).

·         Organize and file slides/blocks while maintaining a clean work environment.

·         Perform other laboratory duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

·         A.A./A.S. with 1+ year of histology experience, or High School diploma/equivalent with 5 years of histology experience.

·         HT (ASCP) certified or ASCP eligible preferred.

·         Experience with routine histology, embedding, microtomy, and H&E staining required; Special Stains (SS) and Immunohistochemistry (IHC) experience is a plus.
