Production Operator (Direct Hire)Wabtec is now hiring for a Production Operator in Lexington, TN. The pay rate is $22.00 per hour. Schedules available include:2nd Shift: Monday-Friday, 2:30 PM – 10:30 PM3rd Shift: Sunday-Thursday, 10:30 PM – 6:30 AMPrecision Pros: Your production operator skills are in high demand!Wabtec is seeking assembly production operators to support the manufacturing of industry-leading cooling and heat transfer products. This position is ideal for individuals who enjoy hands-on production work, working with tools, and interpreting blueprints to build high-quality products in a team-oriented manufacturing environment.Education RequirementsHigh school diploma or GED preferredOne to three years of industrial or manufacturing experience preferredEquivalent combination of education and experience consideredExperience RequirementsManufacturing or assembly experience preferredExperience reading and interpreting blueprintsFamiliarity with hand tools and measuring toolsMechanical aptitude and attention to detailJob DutiesAssemble components according to blueprints and work instructionsPosition, align, and fasten parts using bolts, clips, screws, and other hardwarePerform assembly work in departments including Assembly, CAC, Roll, Fin/Tube, Cuprobraze, and AALSInstall and secure components to meet production specificationsRemove small quantities of metal using hand tools to achieve proper fit and alignmentUtilize measuring tools to verify dimensions and quality standardsOperate hand tools, hammers, roller swagers, and other production equipmentMaintain a clean and safe work environmentFollow all quality, production, and safety proceduresAssist with continuous improvement efforts and team production goalsBenefits vary by client and are confirmed at the time of offer.
