Pay & Benefits

• Pay Rate: $46.90 per hour

What You'll Do

• Provide high-quality nursing care to adult patients in a busy Medical-Surgical/Telemetry unit
• Monitor patient vital signs and interpret EKG rhythms (pass EKG competency exam)
• Manage wound care, JP drains, wound vacs, and hemodialysis catheters
• Administer medications and pain management therapies
• Collaborate with the healthcare team to develop and implement patient care plans
• Support float coverage across various Med/Surg units as needed
• Document clinical assessments and interventions accurately in Meditech Expanse EMR

What You Need

• Active RN license in Louisiana or applicable compact state
• Minimum of 2 years recent acute care experience in Med/Surg or Telemetry
• Current BLS, ACLS, NIHSS certifications
• Strong clinical skills, including wound management and EKG interpretation
• Ability to pass EKG competency exam prior to start
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills

Preferred

• Previous travel experience in similar units
