ELECTRON BEAM WELDER (DRAGON) RESPONSIBILITIES Operate CNC-controlled electron‑beam (EB) welding machines including part set‑up Develop, maintain, and evaluate weld schedules Upkeep general machine maintenance and test Utilize EB welding on several types of metal including titanium, stainless steel, copper, C103, and inconel BASIC QUALIFICATIONS High school diploma or equivalency certificate 1+ years of experience with TIG welding or a certificate of completion from an accredited program PREFERRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE 2+ years of experience in electron beam welding Experience with high and low voltage machine Experience with both manual and robotic welding applications Experience with TIG welding Knowledge of AWS D17.1 ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS Must be willing to work either 1st shift or 2nd shift, able to work overtime hours and weekends as needed Must be able to lift 25 lbs. Must be able to stand for extended periods – 8 hours min. Must be able to stoop, bend, crawl, and maneuver in tight spaces COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS Pay range: Electron Beam Welder/Level 1: $23.00 - $27.00/hour Electron Beam Welder/Level 2: $26.00 - $32.50/hour Electron Beam Welder/Level 3: $31.00 - $38.00/hour Your actual level and base salary will be determined on a case‑by‑case basis and may vary based on job‑related knowledge and skills, education, and experience. Base salary is just one part of your total rewards package at SpaceX.
