This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys working with their hands, solving problems, and learning new skills.In this role, you'll be trained on how to maintain and service backup power systems (UPS equipment) at customer sites. No deep UPS experience? No problem—we provide training.Principle Job DutiesAssist with preventative maintenance (PMs) on UPS systems (both minor and major services)Help inspect, test, and troubleshoot equipmentSupport repairs such as battery replacements, fans, and capacitorsLearn how to read basic diagrams and schematicsComplete service reports accurately after each jobHelp with equipment start-ups, installations, and project workWork directly with customers and represent QPS in a professional wayOccasionally travel overnight or work outside normal hours when neededKnowledge, Skillset & AbilitiesMechanical or electrical interest (schooling or hands-on experience is a plus, but not required)Willingness to learn and take directionGood communication skills and a positive attitudeAbility to stay organized and handle multiple tasksComfortable working both independently and as part of a teamValid driver's license and ability to travelBasic computer skillsWhat We OfferCompany vehicle, tools, and phone providedPaid training and ongoing developmentOpportunity to grow into higher-level technical rolesStable, long-term career path in a high-demand industryThis is more than just a job—it's a chance to build a career.
