Role Description The Associate Attorney role is a full-time, on-site position based in Sioux Falls, SD. The individual in this role will provide legal advice to clients, draft and review legal documents, conduct legal research, and assist in case preparation and strategy. Daily responsibilities may include participating in negotiations, attending meetings, supporting senior attorneys in hearings or proceedings, and managing assigned case files. The Associate Attorney will collaborate with colleagues to develop effective solutions for clients while adhering to professional and ethical standards. Qualifications Strong foundation in Law, with the ability to interpret statutes, regulations, and case law. Experience or interest in Labor and Employment Law, including advising on workplace policies and disputes. Ability to provide clear and practical Legal Advice tailored to client needs. Proficient in legal Research, including use of legal databases and analysis of complex issues. Effective Negotiation skills for resolving disputes and reaching favorable agreements. Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school and admission, or eligibility for admission, to the South Dakota bar. Strong written and verbal communication skills, with attention to detail and organization.
