Caregivers typically work with one client at a time, traveling only between their home and the client’s residence, which is often in close proximity. In-home CNA work is different from facility work. Instead of rotating through many patients per shift, you’ll typically build longer relationships with a smaller set of regular clients. You’ll still use your full CNA scope — vitals, hygiene, transfers, observation — but in a residential setting where you also help with meals, light tidying, and the small routines that make someone’s home feel like home.
