About the Position
We are currently seeking CDL A Drivers for our client in Columbus, Ohio. This position offers a competitive pay rate of $31.39 per hour, with overtime available after 40 hours. The role involves local deliveries of palletized, shrink-wrapped medical supplies and equipment to healthcare customers.
Pay & Schedule
- Hourly pay: $31.39
- Start time: 7pm-3am dispatch window, 8 hour shifts
- Work days: Sunday night to Friday Morning, occasional Friday night into Saturday available
Job Details
- Freight: boxed or palletized, shrink-wrapped medical supplies and equipment
- Equipment: 40- 53 ft Tractor Trailer with liftgate, electric pallet jack
- Handling: Comfortable handling of temperature-sensitive freight, including frozen medical products
Key Responsibilities
- Perform local deliveries of medical supplies and equipment
- Handle temperature-sensitive freight and ensure proper handling
- Operate tractor-trailers safely and efficiently
- Complete deliveries within the designated time frame
Minimum Requirements
- 1+ years of recent, relevant, and verifiable CDL driving experience
- Clean Motor Vehicle Record (no major traffic violations or preventable accidents in the last 3 years)
- Must meet all DOT and FMCSA requirements
- Must be at least 21 years old
- HAZMAT endorsement preferred but not required
