Insurance Sales Representative - Entry Level / Trainee

Job Description

Are you a motivated professional looking to launch a high-earning sales career in Middle Tennessee? Our local Farmers Insurance Agency in Nashville, TN is expanding, and we are seeking an ambitious, goal-oriented Sales Producer to join our team.

In this role, you will help individuals, families, and local businesses protect what matters most by matching them with Farmers’ top-tier insurance solutions. No prior insurance experience or active license is required to apply. We provide 100% free study materials, cover your state licensing costs, and require NO long-term contract commitment. We also supply agency-provided leads to set you up for immediate success from day one.

Responsibilities

Convert Inbound & Outbound Leads: Follow up on agency-provided leads using our proven sales script and marketing systems to quote and close new business.

Conduct Client Reviews: Consult with prospective and existing policyholders to identify coverage gaps across Property & Casualty (Auto, Home, Umbrella), Life & Health, and Commercial lines.

Deliver Sales Presentations: Educate clients on Farmers’ product offerings, policy terms, and discounts, presenting custom insurance packages tailored to their needs.

Generate Referrals : Build long-term client relationships and leverage positive customer experiences to gain organic referrals.

Pipeline Management: Track daily call activity, follow-ups, and sales progress using the agency’s CRM software.

Requirements

Education & Experience: High school diploma or equivalent required; prior experience in sales, customer service, or retail is a plus, but entry-level applicants are strongly encouraged to apply.

Licensing : Ability to obtain Tennessee Property & Casualty (P&C) and Life & Health (L&H) licenses within 30 days of hire (All study materials and exam fees provided at 100% NO COST to you, with NO contract required).

Key Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication, strong interpersonal skills, and a confident, coachable mindset.

Technical Proficiency : Comfortable navigating computer programs, phone systems, and CRM tools.

Background Check : Must be able to pass a standard insurance industry background check.
