Senior Java Developer - Tampa

Salary: $75,000 - 107,000 per year Requirements:

• Proficiency in Java and a sound understanding of its ecosystem
• Basic understanding of MVC, JDBC, and RESTful web services
• Familiarity with Java GUI frameworks such as Swing, SWT, or AWT, depending on project needs
• Ability to create database schemas that support business processes
• Basic knowledge of the JVM, including its limitations, weaknesses, and workarounds
• Experience implementing automated testing platforms and writing unit tests
• In-depth knowledge of code versioning tools such as Git
• Understanding of build tools such as Ant, Maven, or Gradle
• Banking domain experience is preferred

• Design and develop high-volume, low-latency applications for mission-critical systems, with a focus on availability and performance
• Contribute throughout all phases of the development lifecycle
• Write well-designed, testable, and efficient code
• Collaborate with colleagues to create scalable, secure, high-quality products
• Conduct regular checks and follow best practices for software development, deployment, and maintenance
