Senior Payroll Consultant

Kforce has a client in Boston, MA that is seeking an experienced Payroll Consultant to support their payroll team during a high-volume operational period. Summary: This individual will serve as a hands-on resource, partnering closely with payroll leadership to ensure accurate and timely payroll processing while helping manage day-to-day payroll operations. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience with multi-state payroll environments and demonstrated expertise using Oracle E-Business Suite (EBS). This is a fully onsite role based in Boston headquarters. Key Responsibilities:

• Support the payroll team with end-to-end payroll processing activities
• Process and review multi-state payroll transactions ensuring accuracy and compliance
• Assist with payroll audits, reconciliations, and issue resolution
• Review payroll data for completeness, accuracy, and adherence to company policies
• Partner with HR, Finance, and Payroll leadership to address employee payroll inquiries and escalations
• Assist with tax compliance activities and payroll reporting requirements
• Support payroll-related controls and documentation processes
• Utilize Oracle EBS to maintain payroll records and process payroll transactions
• Work within ADP SmartCompliance for payroll tax administration and compliance activities
• Ensure confidentiality and proper handling of sensitive payroll and employee information
• 7+ years of payroll experience in a large, complex organization
• Strong multi-state payroll processing experience
• Hands-on experience with Oracle E-Business Suite (EBS) On-Premise
• Experience working with ADP SmartCompliance or similar payroll tax compliance platforms
• Strong understanding of payroll tax regulations and compliance requirements
• Experience managing high-volume payroll environments
