About the Role
The Company is in search of a Managing Director for the Netherlands, who will also hold the role of Associate Vice President. This visionary and results-driven professional will be tasked with leading the Dutch commercial organization, driving growth, and contributing to the overall success of the business. The successful candidate will be a strategic architect, shaping the future by leading a cross-functional market leadership team and translating strategic priorities into measurable actions. They will also be a spokesperson, engaging with external stakeholders to influence the market environment, and a reputational steward, upholding the company's values and standards. The role involves owning the P&L, being a commercial leader, and securing business continuity, as well as leading the Dutch Country Council and representing the company's presence in the Netherlands. Applicants for this role at the company should have a proven track record of leadership in the pharmaceutical or healthcare industry, with a strong focus on driving growth and delivering results. Experience in managing P&L responsibilities, forecasting, and resource planning is essential, as is a strategic mindset and the ability to make sound business decisions. The role requires a leader with exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, the ability to lead high-performance teams, and a strong understanding of the healthcare ecosystem and regulatory environment in the Netherlands. A university degree from an accredited institution is required, preferably in a related field, with an advanced degree being a plus. Fluency in English is necessary, and command of the Dutch language is advantageous.
