Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, general ledger accountability and financial reporting, as well as financial profitability analysis and other special projects as assigned.ResponsibilitiesLead annual budgeting and forecast processLead periodic forecast revisionsLead month-end and year-end close process in coordination with Corporate AccountingReview, update, monitor enforce internal controls to protect company assets and ensure regulatory compliancePrepare monthly KPI reporting along with supporting documentsEnsure Intercompany is properly recorded and eliminated at the consolidated levelPrepare balance sheet reconciliations monthlyLead year end auditsReview financial statements and provide commentary on any unusual trendsEnsure accounting adheres to GAAPOther duties as assignedQualifications5-10 years of accounting and analysis experience in a manufacturing environment.5 yrs. experience working in SAP and/or Global Shop SolutionsThorough knowledge of accounting procedures and cost accounting4 year degree required Accounting or Finance with an advanced degree and certification desired.Advanced skills in Excel and Power BI requiredExperience with general ledger functions and month end/year end close processExtensive financial analysis of monthly results compared to budget, forecast, prior month and ability to clearly articulate findings.Deep understanding of cost accounting as it relates to manufacturing.We offer 100% employer paid medical plan.
