As a Personal Care Assistant Substitute in a dynamic school environment, your compassionate nature will shine as you provide essential support to students who benefit from 1:1 assistance. Key Responsibilities:

• Support students in classroom settings, providing academic, behavioral, and social assistance
• Deliver 1:1 or small-group help at the direction of teachers and staff
• Assist students with daily routines, transitions, and inclusive classroom participation
• Implement behavior support plans and follow IEPs, as needed
• Aid with mobility, supervision, and personal care requirements
• Maintain a safe, welcoming, and respectful learning environment

Required Qualifications:

• High school diploma or GED
• At least 18 years old
• Completion of TB test (per school policy)
• Ability to stand, walk, and assist in lifting tasks
• Current clearances, or willingness to obtain before starting

Preferred Experience:

• Previous experience in schools, special education, behavioral health, or child care
• Background working with students with special needs, autism, or behavioral challenges
• Training in CPI, PMT, or RBT a plus, but not required
• Reliable, patient, and collaborative approach
