Data Entry Specialist
Smitech Engineering Pte Ltd is widely regarded as one of the most established M&E companies in the industry, providing holistic and personalised M&E engineering solutions. We are currently seeking a meticulous and highly organised Data Entry Specialist to join our team on a full-time basis in San Antonio, Texas, United States. The successful candidate will be responsible for accurately inputting, updating, and maintaining critical information across our company databases, playing a vital role in our operational efficiency.
Responsibilities
- Accurately and efficiently enter a high volume of data from various sources into our company's databases.
- Review data for deficiencies or errors, correcting any incompatibilities and checking output.
- Maintain data integrity by performing regular checks to ensure accuracy and completeness.
- Generate reports, store completed work in designated locations, and perform backup operations.
- Uphold strict confidentiality and data protection policies when handling sensitive information.
- Collaborate with other departments to resolve data-related issues and ensure a smooth workflow.
- Support administrative tasks and projects as required.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in a data entry or similar administrative role.
- Exceptional typing speed and accuracy with a keen eye for detail.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, with a strong command of MS Excel.
- Excellent organisational and time-management skills.
- The ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- A high school diploma or equivalent is required; further qualifications in a relevant field are an asset.
