Description

American Traveler is hiring an Ultrasound Technologist/Sonographer with at least 1 year of experience and ARDMS registration to perform general and OB/GYN sonography studies.

Details

• 5x8 day shifts, 7:30 AM to 4:00 PM
• Call required as requested
• Performs OB/GYN studies including 1st, 2nd, and 3rd trimester scans, amniotic fluid index, fetal anatomical survey, fetal echo, nuchal translucency screen, placenta previa, and umbilical cord doppler
• Performs fetal and neonatal studies including abdomen, head, heart, spine, hips, and renal imaging
• Performs general ultrasound studies including abdominal aorta, gallbladder, liver, biliary tract, and pediatric abdomen/pelvis
• Works across adult, ED, ICU, maternal fetal medicine, obstetrics, and pediatrics settings
• Performs renal/pelvis, transvaginal, and small parts imaging including thyroid, testicles/scrotum, and breast ultrasound
• Performs vascular duplex and renal artery duplex studies
• Uses Siemens ultrasound equipment
• Meditech charting system preferred

Requirements

• Minimum 1 year of experience required
• BLS certification required
• ARDMS registration required
• RDMS or registry eligible and/or ARRT with previous ultrasound training and experience required
• If registry eligible, must apply for certification testing within 12 months of employment and obtain certification within 24 months of hire
• License required if applicable

Additional Information

• No local travelers within 50 miles of the facility
• Candidate profile must indicate whether they are a former employee of the health system, if applicable
• All requested time off must be disclosed at time of submission, with a maximum of 5 days subject to manager approval
