Key Responsibilities Procurement Systems & Data Management
- Support procurement workflows within ERP systems (Microsoft Dynamics Business Central )
- Perform data entry, purchase order setup, and system maintenance
- Assist in transitioning from manual to automated procurement processes
- Manage procurement records, contracts, and Standing Orders (SOs)
- Create and track purchase orders, ensuring accurate delivery and receipt
- Review bids, quotes, and proposals; support vendor selection
- Maintain organized procurement documentation (contracts, licenses, warranties)
- Support full contract lifecycle: solicitation → evaluation → negotiation → execution → monitoring
- Conduct market research and cost analysis
- Identify cost-saving opportunities and process improvements
- Support procurement audits, compliance, and reporting
- Communicate with vendors regarding orders, contracts, and delivery expectations
- Monitor vendor performance and KPIs
- Support supplier diversity initiatives and outreach efforts
- Collaborate with internal teams and warehouse operations
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain, Procurement, or related field
- 5+ years of procurement, purchasing, or contract administration experience
- Strong experience with ERP systems (Microsoft Dynamics Business Central preferred)
- Proven knowledge of procurement lifecycle and contract management
- Experience with RFPs, RFQs, bidding, and vendor negotiations
- Strong data analysis and reporting skills (Excel proficiency required)
- Excellent organizational, communication, and stakeholder management skills
- Ability to work onsite in Boston, MA
- Experience in public sector or government procurement
- Familiarity with supplier diversity programs and compliance requirements
- Experience supporting capital projects or construction procurement
