Hotel General Manager - Marriott

Hotel Manager – Marriott Property Tampa, FL Area Full-Time We are seeking an experienced Hotel Manager to lead the daily operations of a Marriott-branded hotel in the Tampa area. This is a hands‑on leadership role for someone who understands Marriott standards, systems, guest service, and hotel financial performance. Marriott hotel experience is required. Key Responsibilities Lead daily hotel operations and ensure Marriott brand standards are consistently met Manage and support Front Office, Housekeeping, Maintenance, and other operating departments Recruit, train, coach, and hold department leaders and team members accountable Monitor guest satisfaction and respond quickly to service issues Manage labor, departmental expenses, purchasing, and operating costs Review daily revenue, occupancy, ADR, RevPAR, labor, and operational reports Maintain strong Marriott brand compliance and prepare the hotel for brand inspections Work closely with Sales and Revenue Management to maximize hotel performance Maintain a safe, clean, professional environment for guests and employees Communicate effectively with ownership and the management company Required Experience Previous management experience at a Marriott‑branded hotel Working knowledge of Marriott systems and operating procedures Experience with Marriott reservations, property management, guest service, and reporting systems Strong understanding of hotel operations, labor management, budgeting, and P&L performance Proven ability to lead and develop hotel teams Strong communication and problem‑solving skills Ability to work a flexible schedule based on hotel needs Preferred Previous General Manager, Assistant General Manager, Operations Manager, or Rooms leadership experience Experience with Marriott select‑service brands such as Courtyard, Fairfield Inn & Suites, Residence Inn, or similar Marriott brand training and certification We are looking for a manager who is visible, engaged, organized, and comfortable taking ownership of the operation.
