Technician

Grow Technician Reports to: Director of Cultivation. Pay Range: $19.29-$23.50. Position Summary Provides manual labor to support the activities and operations of the Cultivation Department, while abiding by policies, procedures, and operational guidelines. Core Expectations Assist with the coordination of all grow operations including Daily Activities, Quality Assurance, Potting, Manicuring and Harvesting while ensuring compliance with local, state, and federal licensing requirements. Responsible for executing assigned tasks, projects, and expectations in accordance with RD Industries mission, vision, goals, and objectives. Responsible for completing any work assigned during their scheduled shift, as well as sharing information. Maintain open communication with the management team and other coworkers. Report employee issues or product situations. Ensure plant health and quality. Maintain department safety and compliance. Maintain a healthy and clean work environment. Follow and maintain company SOPs and procedures. Responsible for following all operational guidelines, verbal directives, training information and policies when performing duties. Other duties as assigned. Core Competencies Knowledge and adherence to the policies, procedures, and goals of RD Industries. Ability to listen well and communicate effectively orally and in writing with various audiences. Basic math skills. Understanding of applicable federal, state, and local laws and regulations as they pertain to the industry, personnel law, safety regulations, local municipal codes and organizational rules, regulations, directives, and standard operating procedures.
