Outside Sales Representative - Dallas, TX

The Outside Sales Representative travels throughout the assigned territory visiting existing customers ensuring their needs are being met and prospecting for new customers. The Outside Sales Representative reports to the Sales Manager.

Responsibilities:

• Perform sales calls with existing customer to thank them for current business and explain new products available through The Stone Collection
• Perform sales calls to prospect new customers explaining The Stone Collection and all we have to offer
• Respond to customer-fabricator and end user-concerns in a timely manner visiting the end user's project location if necessary
• Meet customer's clients at The Stone Collection to help in selection of material if requested
• Coordinate with logistics department on delivery requested
• Make sales goals for territory and monitor progress monthly utilizing Stone Profit System reporting
• Use Stone Profit system reports to determine schedule for visiting customers weekly/bi weekly/monthly
• Build product knowledge of natural stone and other premium exclusive hard surfacing products
• During sales visits with current customers, review Holds and Sales enforcing The Stone Collection policy
• Ensure all showrooms are constantly up to date with the latest The Stone Collection marketing material and samples
• Meet with Owners of each company on a quarterly basis or more frequently should it be determined to access sales trends, business trends and overall business relationship
• Responsible for managing customer relationship balancing The Stone Collection's business needs with customer's needs
• Responsibly adhere to The Stone Collections Employee Expense Policy and fill out monthly expense reports
• Monitor all Sales, PO's and Holds according to The Stone Collection Policies
• Perform other duties as required

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree preferred or equivalent years of experience for the position
• Minimum of 2 years of related sales/design experience (experience in the home interior, surface finish, interior design, or building material industries preferred)
• Strong project management and organizational skills with impeccable attention to detail
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Effectively and efficiently own multiple projects simultaneously, is equally comfortable working independently and collaboratively and has the ability to meet deadlines
• Ability to effectively manage exterior customers
• Must have strong interpersonal skills while communicating with team members
