The PPC Strategist owns the paid search program on Goo  gle Ads and Microsoft Advertising, driving qualified leads at a profitable cost per lead. This role builds, manages, and optimizes campaigns daily, owns conversion tracking so every lead ties back to its source, and uses AI tools to test more and move faster. The Strategist works closely with the marketing and web teams to keep search aligned with landing pages and offers, recommends budget shifts, and reports against cost-per-lead and ROAS targets.

• Build, manage, and optimize Google Ads and Microsoft Advertising campaigns daily.
\n
• Own keyword research, match types, negative keywords, and search term mining.
\n
• Manage bid strategies and budgets to hit cost-per-lead and ROAS targets.
\n
• Write and test ad copy, assets, and extensions, using AI tools to scale testing.
\n
• Manage Performance Max, search retargeting, and audience strategy.
\n
• Partner with content teams on landing page tests to lift conversion rates.
\n
• Own conversion tracking, GA4 and GTM setup, and CRM lead source accuracy.
\n
• Report weekly on CPL, ROAS, and lead quality, and recommend budget shifts.

• Expert-level, hands-on command of Google Ads and Microsoft Advertising.
\n
• Deep knowledge of keyword strategy, Smart Bidding, and audience targeting.
\n
• Experience with Performance Max, RSAs, and offline conversion imports.
\n
• Experience using AI tools to build and test ad copy at scale.
\n
• Proficient with GA4, Google Tag Manager, and conversion tracking setup.
\n
• Strong in Excel or Google Sheets for analysis, pivots, and reporting.
\n
• Strong analytical skills and the ability to explain results in plain language.
\n
• Google Ads certification preferred.
\n

• 5+ years of hands-on PPC experience
\n
• Financial services or lead generation experience is a plus but not required.
\n
• Proven record of scaling paid search performance and reducing cost per lead.
\n

This marketing position collaborates closely with content creators, web developers, and the digital marketing team. It involves working in an office environment and may require occasional travel for industry conferences or team meetings, including the ability to lift items up to 30 pounds.
