Surgery Coordinator

Coordinating surgical cases and procedures, the full-time Surgery Coordinator will manage patient scheduling, ensure documentation accuracy, and facilitate communication between departments at the Surgery Center in Miami, FL. Key responsibilities Schedule and register surgery patients, ensuring all insurance and procedure information is accurate and complete Handle surgery-related calls and track cancellations to identify trends Collect data for the Patient Satisfaction Survey and report findings to the Administrator Required qualifications At least one year of experience as a scheduler, preferably in a medical setting Completion of one to three months of on-the-job training for proficiency Ability to comprehend written instructions and complete patient information forms accurately Strong interpersonal skills to effectively interact with surgeons and patients Interest in providing individualized attention to patients and families
