Radiological Technologist – Cross Train CT/MRI Location: Wickenburg, AZ Sign On Bonus: $5,000 About Wickenburg Community Hospital: WCH is a 8‑bed emergency department and 19‑bed acute department, with ancillary services and three primary care clinics. It is a non‑profit facility qualified for the Public Service Loan Forgiveness program. General Description: This Radiology Technologist performs medical imaging examinations prescribed by the provider to deliver high‑quality imaging studies for diagnostic purposes. The role includes cross‑training in CT/MRI. The technologist reviews studies, assists the radiologist, and performs other departmental duties. Responsibilities: Perform medical imaging examinations as prescribed by the provider. Review studies for clarity and accuracy. Assist the radiologist with additional imaging when needed. Cross‑train into CT and/or MRI after hiring. Maintain professional and personal development. Assist with other departmental and hospital needs, including office duties. Maintain patient safety, dignity, and continuity of care. Attend in‑service training and education sessions as assigned. Perform specified duties assigned by department head. Qualifications: Graduation from an accredited Radiological Technology program. Minimum of 5 years’ experience in a hospital setting. Current CPR/BLS certification. HIPAA training at time of hire or within 3 months. Valid registration with the American Registry of Radiological Technologists for Radiography. Current Arizona Department of Health license to practice radiography. Physical Requirements: Frequent standing, stooping, bending, stretching, and squatting; able to stand or walk up to 70% of the workday. May be subject to offensive odors. Able to lift and carry up to 20 lbs frequently and 50 lbs occasionally. Requires attention to detail and ability to manage frequent interruptions.
