2nd Shift Clinical Laboratory Technologist - Screening Toxicology

Labcorp

Labcorp seeks a Clinical Laboratory Technologist for second shift toxicology screening work in Durham, NC. The role involves performing laboratory procedures, operating instrumentation, and delivering accurate test results in a regulated laboratory environment.

Responsibilities

Evaluate specimen acceptability using established laboratory criteria
Execute routine and complex technical procedures according to standard operating procedures
Monitor, operate and troubleshoot laboratory instrumentation for proper functionality
Perform preventative maintenance, quality control, and document all procedures
Report accurate and timely test results to support patient care delivery

Requirements

Bachelor's degree in chemical science, biological science, clinical laboratory science, or medical technology
One or more years of clinical laboratory testing experience (preferred)
ASCP or AMT certification (preferred)
Proficiency with computers and laboratory information systems
Ability to pass standardized color blindness test
Physical capability to meet job demands and work overtime as needed
