• Experience leading or mentoring helpers and apprentices on job sites.
• Comfort working on both new construction and reconstruction projects.
• Strong communication skills to coordinate tasks with other electricians and site personnel.
• Solid understanding of safe work practices on construction sites.

You will join a field-based team that values craftsmanship, reliability, and teamwork, offering consistent project work across a variety of residential builds. The role provides exposure to both new construction and reconstruction environments, giving you the opportunity to broaden your skills and take ownership of projects from start to finish. You will work alongside experienced electricians, gain leadership experience by supporting apprentices and helpers, and build a strong foundation for long-term growth in the electrical trade.

This is a field-based role on medium to large residential construction projects located throughout the Chicagoland area, from Shorewood to Huntley, with no assignments in the city itself. Work is primarily on new ground-up homes and reconstruction projects, involving active construction sites with typical job site conditions such as varying weather, noise, and physical activity. You will use your own pouches, hand tools, cordless tools, and conduit benders daily, working with 120V, 240V, and 480V systems and performing tasks such as running wire, bending conduit, and troubleshooting electrical issues.
