Painter/BlasterWe are seeking experienced Painter/Blasters for a 4-week contract supporting vessel repair and maintenance projects. Candidates should have experience with abrasive blasting, surface preparation, and industrial painting in shipyard, marine, or industrial environments.ResponsibilitiesPerform abrasive blasting and surface preparation.Mix and apply industrial coatings and paints.Prepare surfaces through sanding, cleaning, masking, and needle gunning.Apply coatings to tanks, engine rooms, machinery spaces, and vessel exteriors.Inspect completed work to ensure quality standards are met.Follow all OSHA, environmental, and safety requirements.QualificationsExperience with abrasive blasting and industrial painting.Knowledge of surface preparation and coating application.Ability to work in a shipyard, marine, or industrial environment.Strong safety awareness and attention to detail.Shipyard or marine experience preferred.C7 and/or C14 Blasting Certifications preferred.Why Work Here?Join a safety-focused team working on challenging marine projects in a professional shipyard environment. PPE is required, and all work is performed in accordance with OSHA and safety regulations.Job Type & LocationThis is a contract position based out of Everett, WA.Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $31.00 - $34.00/hr. Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
