Key Responsibilities

Sales Performance & Accountability

• Meet or exceed established daily, weekly, and monthly activity and production goals.

• Maintain a high level of outbound calling activity and productive conversations.

• Consistently achieve appointment-setting and qualified lead generation targets.

• Track sales activity, lead dispositions, and follow-up opportunities within the agency's customer relationship management (CRM) system.

• Participate in regular sales coaching, training, and performance evaluations.

• Demonstrate personal accountability, strong time management, and a results-oriented mindset.

Customer Experience & Professionalism

• Represent William Lashbrook State Farm with professionalism, enthusiasm, and integrity.

• Establish rapport quickly and create positive first impressions with prospective customers.

• Communicate clearly, confidently, and persuasively.

• Maintain accurate and detailed customer interaction records.

• Follow agency procedures, applicable telemarketing regulations, and State Farm compliance guidelines.

• Work collaboratively with agency leadership and licensed sales representatives to achieve office production goals.

Required Qualifications

Candidates must meet the following minimum requirements:

• Minimum of 2 years of proven phone sales experience , including outbound prospecting, cold calling, or appointment setting.

• Minimum of 1 year of experience in the insurance industry , preferably in personal lines insurance.

• Demonstrated success meeting or exceeding sales quotas, activity expectations, or appointment-setting goals.

• Strong verbal communication, active listening, and persuasive sales skills.

• Proven ability to overcome objections and confidently ask for appointments or next steps.

• Experience working with CRM systems, lead management platforms, or outbound dialing software.

• Ability to maintain high productivity while managing repetitive outbound calling activities.

• Excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, and follow-through.

• Strong work ethic, professional attitude, and willingness to accept coaching and constructive feedback.

• Comfortable working in a structured, metrics-driven sales environment

• Ability to successfully complete applicable pre-employment screening requirements.
