As a Driving Unarmed Patrol Officer at a utilities location, you will conduct routine vehicle and foot patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, respond to security-related concerns, and provide outstanding customer service. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to personnel, visitors, contractors, and delivery drivers at a utilities location by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of utility operations areas, buildings, access points, parking areas, and perimeter boundaries to help identify and report unusual conditions or unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access to the location, verify credentials as directed, maintain visitor and contractor logs, and report access concerns in accordance with site procedures.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner; communicate with site contacts and emergency responders as directed.
• Document patrols, incidents, observations, and other security-related activities accurately and promptly in accordance with Allied Universal and site requirements.

Minimum Requirements:

• At least 2 years of security-related experience is required.
• A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• A guard card or license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
