The hygienist is responsible for periapical x-rays on these patients. In the absence of the supervisor or director, performs scheduling and work assignments based upon patient flow needs.Ability to provide rotating weekend coverage based on operational need is a MUSTResponsibilitiesComplete Oral Prophylaxes on patientsComplete periapical x-rays as neededDocumentation of the oral examination in the patients electronic dental recordMaintain inventory of supplies and equipmentEducation to patients and familiesWork with front desk staff on schedulingQualifications/ SkillsHigh school diploma/ GED requiredCompletion of a Dental Hygienist program requiredNYS Licensure for Dental HygienistPrior experience as a Dental Hygienist in a dental setting preferredMontefiore Medical Center is an equal employment opportunity employer.
