In this full-time, contract position, you’ll provide direct behavioral and academic support to elementary-aged children alongside dedicated educators. These roles extend through June 18, 2027, and offer rewarding day-to-day engagement and meaningful professional experience.

Key Qualifications:

• Minimum of one year’s experience working in behavioral support, preferably within elementary school settings
• High School Diploma or GED required
• Completion of a state-approved Teacher Assistant Training Program or exemption through a postsecondary degree
• One of the following academic achievements:
  • Passing score on the ParaPathways Assessment (332+ in Reading/Writing and 334+ in Math)
  • 48 or more college credits from an accredited institution
  • Associate’s degree or higher
• National BCI background check preferred for immediate placement

Responsibilities:

• Deliver 1:1 or small group support to students implementing ABA strategies
• Partner with teachers and support staff to create a structured, positive learning environment
• Assist with classroom management, behavioral interventions, and student engagement activities
• Maintain accurate records and communicate student progress as directed
• Adapt to varied caseloads as assigned post-interview to best suit your strengths

This position offers a predictable weekday schedule of 35 hours per week, with a daily 30-minute lunch break for optimal work-life balance.
