Why We’re Hiring Nutrition Nest opens 2026, and this is a founding role on our clinical nutrition team. We’re building this program from the ground up – the protocols, the guest experience, the collaboration model with our chefs and clinicians – and the person we hire will help define what it becomes. This isn’t stepping into an established department; it’s an opportunity to help build one. About the Setting Nutrition Nest blends a clinical practice with a working experiential kitchen – you’ll move between guest consultations, functional lab review, and hands-on collaboration with our Executive Chef and culinary team, all within the same space. Team structure: You’ll be one of two Clinical Nutritionists on the founding team, working closely together and splitting coverage across the week, while collaborating cross-functionally with chefs, health coaches, and (as guests progress deeper into the Preserve ecosystem) physicians and longevity specialists. Tools: We use Cerbo as our EMR, along with systems built in-house specifically for our integrated wellness model – so you’ll have a voice in shaping the tools our team uses, not just adapting to someone else’s system. Pace: As a founding hire, expect the energy of a launch – building alongside your team as guest volume and programming ramp up. What You’ll Do Client Consultation, Functional Nutrition Support & Culinary Medicine Integration (60%) Conduct personalized functional nutrition assessments and consultations, and design customized nutrition protocols – including therapeutic meal and supplement plans. Interpret functional lab results and apply systems biology insights to guide each guest’s path. Provide relationship-centered follow-up support, including recipe and lifestyle adaptations. Collaborate with the Executive Chef to design therapeutic, pathway-aligned meals, and develop nutrient-dense, flavorful recipes that meet clinical dietary protocols. Ensure menu items comply with clinical and therapeutic standards, and help analyze and adjust the nutritional profile of our culinary offerings. Educational Leadership & Guest Engagement (25%) Co-lead interactive cooking and wellness classes that translate nutrition science into engaging, accessible culinary experiences. Develop educational content – recipe cards, guides, and workshop materials – that inspires guests to embrace food-as-medicine principles at home. Program Development & Innovation (15%) Collaborate across disciplines to help shape wellness programs and guest events as the practice grows. Stay current with emerging trends in functional ingredients and culinary therapies, and support research and continuing-education initiatives. Contribute to healing-market curation and the evolution of our broader Culinary Medicine program. Qualifications Required: Licensed and Registered Dietitian Nutritionist (LDN, RDN) or Certified Nutrition Specialist (CNS) Bachelor’s degree in Nutrition, Dietetics, or a related field A strong foundation in integrative or functional nutrition, and genuine curiosity about root-cause, systems-biology approaches to care Culinary experience or a real passion for hands-on food preparation A collaborative mindset – comfortable working closely with chefs, coaches, and clinicians toward shared guest outcomes Preferred (not required): Master’s degree in Dietetics, Nutrition, Food Science, or Culinary Medicine Advanced certifications (e.g., IFNCP, IFMCP, FxNA, CNSC) Experience in therapeutic cooking, guest education, or functional ingredient development Comfort working with an executive-level or high-touch clientele Familiarity with nutrient preservation and culinary nutrition techniques Schedule & Work-Life Details Full-time Nutrition Nest is open 7 days a week, 8:30 AM – 6:30 PM Our two Clinical Nutritionists split coverage across the week, which includes a rotating weekend shift – exact rotation coordinated collaboratively within the team No on-call/after-hours expectations beyond scheduled shifts Compensation & Benefits Compensation: $60,000-$70,000/year, based on experience Benefits: Competitive salary Health, dental, and vision insurance Paid time off Employee wellness perks (access to Preserve Life’s own nutrition and wellness programs) Growth & Learning Opportunities As one of the founding Clinical Nutritionists at Nutrition Nest, you’ll help shape the protocols, training materials, and interdisciplinary collaboration model that future team members will follow.
