Certified Home Health Aide (CHHA) – Williamstown, NJ

Pay: $19 plus differentials per hour

Location: Williamstown, NJ

Employment Type: Part-Time, Variable Hour

Schedule: Monday–Wednesday–Friday | 12:00 PM–2:00 PM & 8:00 PM–10:00 PM

About This CaseWe are seeking a reliable and experienced CHHA to assist a VA client with his daily care needs. The caregiver must be comfortable providing hands-on assistance and lifting/transferring the client out of the car safely.
What This Client Needs

• Follow the client's established daily routine and care plan

• Be able to lift and Assist

• Assist with Bed Time

• A dependable caregiver who is comfortable providing physical assistance

Responsibilities

• Safely assist the client out of the car upon arrival

• Provide transfer assistance as needed

• Help the client get settled comfortably in the home

• Help the client get ready for bed

• Provide companionship and supervision while completing care tasks

• Follow the client’s care plan and VA service guidelines

Requirements

• Active New Jersey CHHA certification

• Reliable, compassionate, patient, and attentive

• Comfortable with Lifting and Assisting

• Reliable transportation to and from the client's residence

Attributes

• No Pet Care

• Hoyer lift transfers are required; however, only facility staff operate the Hoyer lift per facility protocol. The CHHA is not responsible for Hoyer lift transfers.

• Non-smoking environment

• No transportation
