Opportunity:

RN - OR

Job Details:

• Work 4 shifts of 10-hour days per week from 6:30 AM to 5:00 PM
• On-call requirements include 2 weeknights per week, 1 weekend every 4th weekend, and 1 summer and 1 winter holiday
• 30-minute call response time required
• Facility operates 6 OR suites plus 2 GI suites with 10 to 30 cases per day
• Common cases include TKA, THA, ORIF, robotic cholecystectomy, robotic hernia repair, cataracts, GI endoscopies, and podiatry procedures
• Orthopedic and robotic surgery experience required
• Scrubbing required for RN role
• Occasional floating to interventional radiology for pain cases, emergency department, or floor as needed
• Charting system: Cerner EMR
• Grey scrubs provided by facility
• Required certifications: BLS, ACLS
• BSN not required

This acute care facility features a robust surgical department with 6 operating rooms and 2 GI suites, supporting a high volume of daily cases ranging from orthopedic procedures to robotic surgeries. The facility provides a dynamic work environment with a diverse mix of surgical specialties and modern technology, including robotic surgical systems. Staff have the opportunity to work across multiple care settings, offering a well-rounded clinical experience.
