Responsibilities Provide quality care in both clinic and telehealth settings and meet patient volume goals for telehealth and in‑patient as determined. Lead clinic staff, setting behaviors, actions, and attitudes among X‑Ray technologists, nurses, and front office staff, ensuring excellent patient care. Perform all responsibilities included in the SCRIBE job description. Discuss and review patients’ medical history, symptoms, allergies, and current medications. Ask situation-specific questions to formulate accurate diagnoses and provide guidance to ensure quality professional services and patient satisfaction. Engage actively with clinical leadership, elevating concerns to management where appropriate to ensure strong patient care and resolution of issues. Meet patient volume goals for telehealth and in‑patient as determined. Complete patient charts accurately and in a timely manner, forwarding charts as appropriate daily, and build confidence and credibility with all employees. Implement clinical and telehealth protocols as outlined by the CMO and supervising physicians. Analyze and interpret patients’ histories, symptoms, physical findings, and diagnostic information to develop appropriate diagnoses. Deliver excellent patient care through in‑patient and virtual diagnostics and therapeutic recommendations, focusing on patient‑centric care, safety, cost, and reliable information. Ensure that all provider activities are consistent with department expectations and comply with federal and state regulations, guidelines, and requirements, including HIPAA. Work efficiently in a fast‑paced, autonomous environment within both in‑patient clinic and virtual settings. Maintain a timely telehealth queue to ensure proper patient follow‑up. Order, perform, or interpret diagnostic test results, responsibly prescribe medications, and educate patients on continued treatment and care of acute and chronic conditions. Adhere to clinical practice guidelines by the Office of Medical Affairs. Attend mandatory monthly meetings with supervising physicians and E/M training sessions. Perform responsibilities within standard NP/PA protocols. Comply with all mandatory compliance training requirements to exceed quality of care standards. Recommend improvements within the clinic and to telehealth leadership to enhance patient experience and care. Communicate regularly within the team to support excellent patient care. Welcome new employees on their first day, facilitate introductions, conduct clinic tours, and provide an overview of clinic processes. Assist new employees with learning activities and required training. Provide job shadowing, demonstration, and coaching opportunities to support new employee training. Develop and maintain confidence and credibility with all employees. Maintain a positive work atmosphere by fostering friendly, cordial relations with all clients and employees. Perform physical, sensory, cognitive, and environmental functions required for the position as specified in the physical demands section. Be knowledgeable and comply with company operations standards. Promote and maintain a respectful culture of confidentiality for employees, employers, and business operations. Consult with patients through virtual communication channels. Possess preferred experience working as a telehealth clinician. Perform other duties as assigned by management. PRN employees are required to work a minimum of four shifts per month. Full‑time employees are required to work 12‑hour shifts, including every other weekend. Experience Requirements and Preferences Additional requirements and responsibilities for ancillary providers. On‑call periodically throughout the year. Level 1: New graduate with up to 1 year of experience as a nurse practitioner or physician assistant. Level 2: Nurse practitioner with over 1 year but less than 5 years of experience; physician assistant with over 1 year but less than 5 years of experience. Level 3: Nurse practitioner with over 5 years but less than 10 years of experience; physician assistant with over 5 years but less than 10 years of experience. Level 4: Nurse practitioner with over 10 years of experience; physician assistant with over 10 years of experience. Education Master’s Degree in Nursing (MSN) and/or Master’s Degree in Physician Assistant Studies (MMS). At least 1–2 years of experience as a provider in a relevant practice (e.g., urgent care, occupational medical facility, ER or trauma unit, family medical practice) is strongly preferred. Current License or Certification License and DEA must be active, in good standing, and verifiable with the proper regulatory agency. DEA is required for all providers and must be obtained within 120 days of meeting the minimum years of practice under state law. Providers must be able to treat all ages and meet any credentialing requirements needed; DOT certification is required for full‑time and part‑time providers within 120 days of employment and must be maintained during employment. Mississippi Residents Only In Mississippi, Fast Pace requires pre‑employment drug/alcohol testing as a condition of employment.
