Pharmacist Inpatient

Pharmacy Technician

Performs duties in the hospital pharmacy related to dispensing and compounding of medication according to departmental policies and procedures for patients spanning all age groups and cultures.

Required Skills/Qualifications/Training/Experience:

• Excellent verbal/written skills.
• Demonstrate the knowledge and skills necessary to provide pharmaceutical care for the age served patients.
• Demonstrates ability to interpret and assess clinical data necessary to provide care for the age of patients served.
• Must be computer literate.
• Must be familiar with pharmaceutical laws and guidelines.

Preferred Skills/Qualifications/Training/Experience:

• Hospital experience required.
• Knowledge of USP 797, 800 regulations and processes.
• Positive interpersonal communication skills.

Educational Requirements:

• Bachelor of Science/PharmD in Pharmacy from accredited school of pharmacy.

License/Certification:

• Current license by Massachusetts Board of Pharmacy.
