$1,600 - $1,800 per week365 Freight USA
Job Description
Job Description
Start your driving career in Roanoke, Virginia, with a role designed for new CDL A holders. 365 Freight USA is hiring recent graduates and newly licensed CDL A drivers for a paid 4–6 week mentor training program. You will ride and work alongside an experienced driver, learn the day-to-day operations of professional trucking, and then transition to solo driving. After training, drivers can earn $1,600–$1,800 per week with full benefits.
What we offer
- Paid training throughout the 4–6 week mentor period.
- Weekly earnings of $1,600–$1,800 after training.
- Weekly pay through direct deposit.
- Full benefits available after training.
- A strong starting opportunity for recent CDL A graduates ready to move from the classroom into real-world driving in and around the Roanoke, Virginia area.
- Practical, on-the-road guidance from a mentor before assuming solo driving responsibilities.
- A structured path designed to help new drivers build confidence and experience safely.
What you’ll be doing
- Complete a paid 4–6 week mentor training period focused on daily driving routines, working with an experienced driver, and preparing to transition to solo driving.
- Drive with your mentor while assisting with pickups and deliveries and learning to manage loads safely and efficiently.
- Follow safe driving practices, complete required checks, and develop good habits for professional over-the-road operations.
- Gain hands-on experience with trip planning and flow, communication, and decision-making as you progress from a recent graduate to an independent driver.
What we’re looking for
- Safety-first mindset: Follow DOT requirements, company procedures, and safe driving practices at all times.
- Reliability: Arrive ready to work, stay on schedule, and handle responsibilities consistently during training and after transitioning to solo driving.
- Coachability: Be open to feedback from your mentor and willing to learn through real-time instruction on the road.
- Strong communication: Stay in contact with your mentor and dispatch, ask questions when needed, and communicate clearly and professionally.
