Cold Saw Operator – PM Shift
Local Steel Warehouse | Full-Time | Starting at $21/hr
Monday – Friday | 2:00pm - 10:30pm
Join a respected steel processing and distribution company that values precision, safety, and teamwork. We're seeking a Cold Saw Operator with warehouse experience to operate cutting machinery and assist with general material handling operations in a clean, organized, and safety-first environment.
Schedule & Pay
- Monday to Friday | 2pm-10:30pm
- Starting Pay: From $21.00/hour
- Overtime Available
- No Weekends
Primary Responsibilities
- Operate Cold Saw machines to cut steel accurately to specifications
- Operate additional equipment such as cranes, forklifts, side loaders, or other saws as needed
- Load and unload bar, tubing, plate, sheet, and structural materials
- Fill orders accurately by verifying size, type, and heat numbers
- Check in and rack material, ensuring it is properly color-coded
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized warehouse environment
- Adhere to company safety standards and operational procedures
Requirements
- Experience operating a Cold Saw
- Steel industry experience preferred
- Ability to read a tape measure (you will be tested)
- Basic math and measurement skills
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Valid driver's license
- Ability to speak and understand English fluently
- Ability to operate warehouse equipment (training provided by certified personnel)
