Details\n \n Evening shift, Monday–Friday, 5x8 hours from 2:30 PM to 11:00 PM \n Blocked Monday–Friday schedule \n Average caseload of 12 patients per day in a single MRI room \n On-call required every Wednesday from 11:00 PM to 6:30 AM and every third weekend \n Occasional weekend coverage as needed per department needs \n May float within scope to sister facility (Mercy Coon Rapids) \n Uses 1.5T Siemens Avanto MRI scanner \n Epic (Excellian) EMR system used for charting \n Requirements\n \n Minimum 2 years of MRI Technologist experience required \n ARRT-R and BLS certification required; ARRT-MR certification preferred \n License required if applicable \n Experience in outpatient, inpatient, ER, community hospital, and adult ICU settings required \n Skilled in peripheral IV starts and administration of contrast media \n Experience with radiation safety and isolation precautions/PPE \n Level II trauma experience preferred \n Prior travel experience required \n Proficient in imaging including abdomen/pelvis, head and neck, spine, chest, musculoskeletal, and cardiovascular MRI studies \n At least one supervisor reference required for consideration \n Copy of current certifications and license verification required for consideration \n Additional Information\n \n Perform a wide range of MRI procedures including abdominal, pelvic, head, neck, spine, chest, musculoskeletal, and cardiovascular imaging \n Work within a Level 4 trauma, teaching hospital setting with 149 staffed beds \n Dark gray scrub color required \n Free parking available in any unrestricted space \n First-time travelers will not be considered for this position \n Local candidates accepted for this radiology position \n Returning staff must have been separated from perm employment (staff or per diem) for at least 3 months before starting a travel assignment \n Requested time off should ideally not exceed 5 days during the assignment \n \n \n American Traveler Job ID #P-740411.
