Travel Physical Therapist (PT) Location: Fort Mohave, Arizona (13-week travel assignment) Job Overview Fusion Medical Staffing seeks a skilled Physical Therapist to evaluate, diagnose, and treat patients with physical impairments. The role involves creating evidence-based treatment plans, using exercise and manual therapy, and collaborating with a multidisciplinary healthcare team to enhance patient mobility, reduce pain, and improve quality of life. Required Qualifications Valid Physical Therapy license in the state of Arizona Current BLS certification (AHA/ARC) Preferred Qualifications Doctorate degree in Physical Therapy Prior experience in a hospital, clinic, or rehabilitation setting (New Graduates welcome) Additional certifications or licenses acceptable as required Essential Work Functions Evaluate patients’ physical conditions using standardized tests, clinical examinations, and patient history to identify limitations and treatment needs. Develop personalized rehabilitation programs based on assessment findings and patient goals. Implement treatment plans using various techniques to improve mobility and reduce pain. Operate and maintain specialized physical therapy equipment and modalities. Assess progress, adjust plans as needed, and accurately document evaluations, interventions, and outcomes. Collaborate with physicians, nurses, occupational therapists, and other professionals to coordinate care. Educate patients and caregivers on home exercise programs, body mechanics, injury prevention, and self‑management. Maintain a safe treatment environment following infection control protocols and safety guidelines. Engage in quality assurance and professional development activities. Assist in discharge planning for smooth transitions to community or home settings. Perform other duties within scope of practice as assigned. Required Essential Skills Critical thinking, service excellence, and strong interpersonal communication. Proficient reading, writing, and verbal communication in English. Ability to read and comprehend written instructions, follow verbal directions, and use PC skills. Physical ability to remain stationary, move equipment (50–100 lbs), push, pull, and bend. Effective teamwork with professional and ancillary staff, maintaining a positive attitude. Fine motor skills for manipulation and assistance with procedures.
