It has received national recognition for its achievements in patient safety and healthcare quality. The hospital serves as a referral center for trauma, stroke, and neonatal intensive care. It is also recognized for its robotic surgery program and cardiac care. The unit has 36 beds and over 50 staff members. Staffing includes charge nurses, registered nurses, nursing assistants, and a unit coordinator. Current nurse-to-patient ratios are 1:5-6 during the day and 1:6-7 at night. Equipment includes medical telemetry monitoring and electronic medical record access. Candidates must possess strong skills in BLS and medical telemetry. Leadership experience, charge nurse experience, and a BSN are preferred. The ideal candidate is hardworking, compassionate, and team-oriented. They should enjoy working in a fast-paced environment. Floating may occur to nearby medical-surgical units. Weekend shifts will be required, with a minimum of six per scheduling period.
