About the Position

Job Title: RN - ICU Profession: Registered Nurse Specialty: Intensive Care Unit Duration: 13 weeks Shift: 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM Hours per Shift: 36 hours guaranteed Experience: Minimum 2 years of current acute care hospital ICU experience License: Valid RN license Certifications: BLS, ACLS, NIH Must-Have: Candidates without these skills will not be considered for the role. Minimum 1 year of current acute care hospital ICU experience. BLS, ACLS, and NIH certifications are required. Description: Travel RN position in the ICU. Unit Information: 26 beds and 15 staff members. Day shift consists of 13 RNs, 1 Charge Nurse, and 1 Patient Care Tech. Night shift consists of 13 RNs, 1 Charge Nurse, and 1 Patient Care Tech. Patient ratios are 1:2. Type of equipment used includes balloon pumps, CRRT, and hypothermia devices. The EMR system utilized is Meditech. Typical procedures performed include heart catheterizations, balloon pumps, CRRT, hypothermia treatments, cardioversion, and central line placements with medication drips. Candidates with prior Meditech experience and previous travel assignments in large facility ICUs will be considered first.
